Responsibilities

Oversee the campus security program and site-specific operations ranging from specialized in-house programs to traditional vendor services, including emergency response and special events
Establish security standards and policies while managing vendor operations for security, training, protective services, and risk assessments
Co-ordinate with internal partners (GSRS, HR, Legal) and external emergency services to manage campus security and lead field efforts during on-site incidents
Conduct data analysis and benchmarking for risk assessments, create and present travel briefings regarding crime and health risks
Engage with facilities to resolve security deficiencies and ensure regulatory compliance, requires being on-site five days per week and availability outside business hours

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in either managing security operations within a multinational corporation, managing law enforcement operations, or managing military security operations
Experience working with vendors and managing contracted security personnel
Experience in the assessment of operational security risk

Preferred

Experience managing security operations and security personnel with a proven track record of delivering high quality, customer-oriented security programs
Experience working with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services
Knowledge of security technologies including CCTV, Access Control, and Incident Management Systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
Excellent judgment, discretion and diplomacy with high ethical standards and proven ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
