Responsibilities

Operation of mobile equipment required to mine rock (For example: Rock drills, wheel loaders, bulldozer, haul trucks and water trucks, motor grader, fuel tanker, hydraulic rock breaker)

Perform mechanical maintenance checkouts, troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and do minor preventative maintenance on mobile equipment

Monitor and react to quality issues (For example: sample drill holes, monitor quality feedback information & adjust mining pattern as necessary)

Maintain documentation, plan and organize work, participate in various team activities

Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors

Required

High School diploma/GED

1 year of heavy equipment operating in a heavy manufacturing environment

Knowledge of processing methods and appropriate planning techniques

Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Ability to work in a team based environment

High mechanical aptitude and experience operating mobile equipment

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators
