Assistant/Associate Professor Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
The University of Minnesota is seeking a full-time academic plastic surgeon for the Department of Surgery. The role includes clinical practice in the Twin Cities metropolitan area, along with academic responsibilities in teaching, research, and service.

Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient clinical care
Participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows
Engagement in scholarly activity
Participation in service to the department, institution, and profession
General Plastic Surgery opportunity with emphasis on Breast, Wound Care, and General Reconstruction
Qualification
Required
MD or equivalent degree
Completion of an accredited ACGME Plastic Surgery residency and/or fellowship training program
Board eligible or board certified in Plastic Surgery
Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure
Ability to obtain/maintain DEA certification in Minnesota
Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, communication, collaboration, and commitment to academic surgery
Preferred
Microsurgical training
