Moon Valley Nurseries is the largest grower of box trees and palms in North America, and they are seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support their in-house legal team. This role involves managing litigation, claims, and compliance matters while ensuring effective collaboration with attorneys and business units.

Responsibilities

Assist with all aspects of commercial and employment litigation matters, including document review, discovery, and case file management

Coordinate and manage insured claims and act as a liaison between the company, outside counsel, and insurance carriers

Maintain and organize litigation and claims files, including docketing and tracking critical court and administrative deadlines

Gather and summarize facts through document review, internal interviews, and investigation for attorney review

Prepare, review, and process subpoenas, discovery requests, and legal correspondence

Assist with licensing and regulatory compliance matters as needed

Manage and update claims management and insurance portals to ensure timely and accurate reporting

Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive legal and business information

Collaborate effectively with attorneys, leadership, and various business units to support legal operations and mitigate risk
