The University of Michigan is seeking a Research Assistant to work with Dr. David T. Broome in the Department of Internal Medicine. The role involves clinical trial recruitment, data entry, and analysis, offering opportunities for abstract presentation and manuscript preparation.

Responsibilities
Reviewing Electronic Medical Records, Calling Subjects eligible for Clinical Trial Recruitment (participant screening and recruitment and data collection)
Preparing abstract and/or manuscripts for presentation and publication, respectively
Assisting Clinical Research Coordinator with Data Entry and/or Analysis
Qualification
Required
Applicants should have a B.S. in a medically related field
It is essential that applicants have excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and leadership qualities
Researchers will be encouraged to work in a collaborative group setting
Preferred
While no prior research experience is required, prior research experience is a plus
Previous experience programming in REDCap, MiChart (or Epic), STATA, SAS, R software, and/or GraphPad Prism is highly desired
