They are seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to conduct research on metabolism and its implications for human disease, utilizing advanced techniques in systems biology and mentoring research trainees.

Responsibilities
Design and perform experiments focused on cellular and organismal metabolism
Learn metabolic techniques including LC/MS-based metabolomics and isotope tracing/flux experiments using in vitro and in vivo model systems
Develop genetically engineered mouse models to dissect the influence of specific metabolites on organismal physiology and mouse models of disease
Mentor and train research trainees
Prepare work for presentation, publication, and grants
Qualification
Required
PhD in Biomedical Sciences focusing on biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, metabolism, physiology, or a related field
Experience working with mouse models and mammalian cell culture
Experience with molecular and cellular biology techniques
Preferred
Experience with bioinformatics and working knowledge of scripting languages (i.e. R) are not required but considered an asset
