Responsibilities
ETRM Support & Maintenance: Provide high-level technical support for the existing ETRM system, ensuring daily business continuity for Front and Back Office
Technical Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis using SQL and Python
Trading Support: Collaborate directly with traders and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
Data & Analytics: Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and Business Intelligence (BI) tools for both Front and Back Office operations
Database Management: Write, optimize, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL scripts to ensure high performance and data integrity
Infrastructure Coordination: Liaise with external providers to coordinate IT processes, system setups, and hardware configurations
Qualification
Required
Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Python : Solid experience developing with commonly used libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy)
Database : Advanced skills in SQL, with a focus on performance tuning and complex script development
Business Intelligence : Experience in designing and developing BI applications to support trading decisions and operational reporting
Analytical Mindset : Strong ability to troubleshoot software bugs and understand complex data relationships within a database management system
Proactivity: A self-starter attitude with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced trading environment
Preferred
ETRM Knowledge: Prior experience with ETRM
Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with AWS (server configuration and services)
Soft Skills : Strong communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders
