Responsibilities
The lead will work closely with customers to assess the scope of potential software interfaces and simulation message exchange between T6 and the external interface(s)
This role is external facing with management and customer interaction, and the lead will serve as the primary point of contact with the customer and mission partners to report integration status, technical challenges/ issues, and interface exchange
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in physics or engineering or related STEM field with 5 years of experience in a related engineering field such as mechanical, electrical, aerospace and/or operations
Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time
Experience with Open Sim standards (Distributed Interactive Simulation, High-level Architecture, or similar)
Proficiency with scripting (Python, C++/C#, or similar)
Preferred
Experience with Space Operational Training and Simulation
Outstanding skills in building rapport and interfacing with external team partners
Proactive self-starter capable of identifying gaps and problems in/with processes and proposing and implementing solutions
Experience with complex requirement development and traceability
