Responsibilities
Develop, create, track, update and manage and reports for network QuickBase database
Edit, manipulate, and maintain network data using QuickBase software
Maintain computer database records for data files
Manage data records
Knowledge of relational database design and software development lifecycles from conception to deployments. Familiarity with database design / relational database designing processes and procedures
General knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS for custom page development coding processes and procedures (professional development experience is not absolutely needed but knowledge and experience reviewing code is needed)
Maintain, update and organize document storage, and upload network documents
Support the network and construction teams by tracking and completing related data related to OSP engineering, splicing, testing and utility construction operations
Support ongoing data development and special analysis for telecommunication project
Train and educate employees on software principles and techniques
Perform other office tasks/other data entry as needed
Qualification
Required
Degree in Computer Science or Database Management discipline or relevant certification required
Minimum of 5 years' experience as Database engineer required
Expert knowledge of MS SQL Server required
Proven working experience as a Database Administrator
Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications
Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding
Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools
Familiarity with programming languages API
Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically
Must pass pre-employment processes, including MVR check, criminal background check and drug test. Drug testing follows federal law
Preferred
Experience working with Amazon AWS and MS Azure and Apache Iceberg and AWS Glue a plus
Built-out OLAP and other tools for data mining
General knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS for custom page development coding processes and procedures (professional development experience is not absolutely needed but knowledge and experience reviewing code is needed)
