They are currently seeking a Database Developer/ETL for their client in the Financial Services domain, responsible for database development and ETL processes. The role requires strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and Informatica, with a focus on developing high-performance database solutions.

Responsibilities
Database Development, primarily in Oracle PL/SQL
Must be strong in writing Complex Queries
Writing PL/SQL functions and packages
The ability to Diagnose data issues and performance matrix; ETL, specifically Informatica, experience also strongly preferred
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in Database Development
Expert in PL/SQL
Experience with ETL
Experience with Informatica
Expert in Oracle
Development background
Expert in Packaging
Demonstrative experience in Oracle/PL-SQL and Informatica ETL including packages, procedures, function, and triggers
Ability to optimize sophisticated queries and compose efficient solutions
Experience working in enterprise environments with version control and deployment standards
Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills with detail-oriented mindset
Extensive experience in Data engineering, Data modeling and Data analysis
Experience in ETL invent and development
Experience with databases such as Oracle (Primary), SQL server
Experience of working in Agile methodology
Knowledge of Containerization and cloud deployment related to Database
Ability to build communication and rapport with partners and stakeholders
Ability to adapt, in a changing environment and be effective in many different business settings
Ability to take initiative, define vision for improvement of products, and execute at high level of quality
Bachelor's degree
Preferred
Enterprise Data Lake experience
Modeling experience
Financial background
Cloud exposure
Ability to plan and work with geographically spread-out teams
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Curiosity to constantly relearn/explore new processes/technologies
