They are seeking a Data Scientist in Residence to participate in a 6-month program, working on industry projects in collaboration with experts across various sectors such as Finance and Education while gaining hands-on experience and mentorship.

Dive deep into several industry projects, collaborating with a team of professionals
Work on challenging projects coming from Apziva’s industry partners across different industries including Finance, Logistics, Education, Hardware, Retail, and Human Resources
Contribute to real-world projects and build up your professional portfolio
Deep dive into the full project life cycle, from model development to deployment
Gain insights into diverse industries and work on challenging problems spanning Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Time Series Analysis, and Recommender Systems
Collaborate with a team of experts and mentors to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions
Qualification
Required
BA or BS degree, or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related fields
Knowledge of Python, SQL, pandas, matplotlib, Scikit-Learn
Strong understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms
Exceptional problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
