Senior Premium Accountant
Alera Group is a rapidly growing company in the business brokerage sector, seeking a Senior Premium Accountant to join their team. The role involves managing month-end close activities, overseeing daily premium accounting operations, and supporting financial reporting and operations through various processes.

Responsibilities
Manage month-end close and core accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, GAAP compliance, and financial analysis
Oversee daily premium accounting operations within the Agency Management System, including billing, commissions, premium finance, A/R and A/P management, aging reviews, and carrier/broker payments
Support financial reporting and operations through audits, integrations of acquired firms, process improvements, special projects, and cross-functional collaboration
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Ability to commute to the office at least once per month
Preferred
3+ years of relevant professional experience preferred
