The Production Associate is responsible for ensuring that product runs adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices while operating machinery and maintaining quality standards throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

Regular cleaning of all production and process equipment

Perform machine calibration before each run of product

Verify that proper amounts of product, bottles, caps, seals and labels are accounted for on each production run

Operate and oversee production machinery throughout each production run. No production equipment or machinery shall be used without proper supervision by a qualified member of production personnel

Label application by machine or hand; whichever method is most efficient using available equipment

Print lot numbers and expiration dates on packaged products

Count and verify proper amounts of finished product units before MQA checks the lot for approval

Follow the instruction of the Production Supervisor and/or appropriate MQA member

Complete paperwork and turn into supervisor

Check for constant quality of finished product
