Confidential is a global company with a growing U.S. presence, combining technology, field operations, and mission-driven work. They are seeking a General Manager to lead and scale their U.S. business, focusing on P&L ownership, market strategy, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

Full P&L ownership for the North American business
Define and execute regional growth strategy aligned with global objectives
Deep understanding of U.S. market dynamics within ag-tech, environmental, sustainability, or climate-driven industries
Identify and develop new market opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams
Lead enterprise and channel sales in long-cycle, multi-stakeholder environments
Drive revenue growth, retention, and expansion across strategic accounts
Oversee pricing strategy, forecasting, pipeline management, and contract negotiations
Act as executive sponsor for key customers, partners, and strategic alliances
Build, lead, and develop cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Field, Partnerships)
Create a strong performance culture with clear accountability and execution discipline
Attract, retain, and develop senior talent in a competitive U.S. market
Serve as the primary interface between global HQ and the North American market
Localize global strategy while maintaining alignment and operational consistency
Partner closely with Product, R&D, Marketing, and Finance leadership
Provide clear insights, reporting, and recommendations to executive leadership and the board

Required

Senior leadership experience as General Manager, Business Unit Head, Country Manager, or equivalent
Proven P&L ownership and revenue accountability
Strong commercial background with enterprise or strategic sales experience
Background in ag-tech, environmental, sustainability, climate-tech, food-tech, or adjacent B2B technology sectors
Experience scaling regional operations in growth-stage or global organizations
Strategic yet hands-on leadership style with a strong execution mindset
Comfortable operating in global, matrixed environments
Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder-management skills
