Global Product Manager, Cell Sorters

The Global Product Manager for the Aurora CS cell sorter and Orion reagent automation platforms will provide strategic leadership and cross-functional coordination to ensure global success of these product lines.

Responsibilities
Lead global strategy and execution for the Aurora CS and Orion portfolios, ensuring competitive positioning and alignment with Cytek’s overall objectives
Oversee lifecycle activities including sustaining engineering, product optimizations, SKU management, and end-of-life planning
Conduct competitive analysis across sorter performance, reagent automation workflows, pricing, and market messaging
Identify unmet needs in immunology, high-parameter sorting, automation, and lab operational workflows
Translate competitive intelligence and market insights into clear and actionable positioning, objection-handling tools, and sales enablement content
Continuously refine product positioning to enhance market adoption, customer value recognition, and satisfaction
Drive lifecycle processes including voice-of-customer (VOC), reliability monitoring, field feedback, and iterative product improvements
Coordinate sustaining engineering initiatives for quality enhancement and cost-reduction projects
Lead end-of-life planning, including customer communication and transition pathways
Maintain forecasting and funnel analysis reflecting Core Lab purchasing metrics and adoption trends for sorter and automation solutions
Develop and execute global marketing campaigns emphasizing immunology workflows, high-parameter sorting, and Orion automation
Produce downstream marketing assets, workflow guides, case studies, and sales tools to strengthen product visibility and differentiation
Support commercialization of software upgrades, workflow improvements, and automation enhancements
Partner with regional teams to monitor funnel performance and drive demand generation activities
Engage closely with Core Labs, SRLs, and immunology researchers to gather workflow insights and understand customer challenges
Collaborate with Field Application Scientists (FAS), partnerships, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to generate application notes, best-practice guides, and publications
Lead educational initiatives including webinars, user groups, workshops, and Core Lab–focused events
Drive expansion of applications in immune profiling, rare-cell sorting, panel automation, and standardized reagent preparation
Oversee user meetings, product demos, and training programs to cultivate a growing and engaged community of Cytek users
Partner with Sales, Field Service, QA/RA, R&D, Operations, and Finance to drive global execution of Aurora CS and Orion product lines
Work with Bioinformatics and Reagent Marketing teams to align workflows, spectral tools, and panel design support
Develop and deliver sales training programs covering sorter workflows, immunology applications, Core Lab personas, and competitive differentiation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Immunology, Bioengineering, or related field
5+ years of product management or commercial experience in life science instrumentation
Strong understanding of immunology workflows, spectral panel design, Core Lab operations, and cell sorting
Applications experience in genomics, proteomics, or related downstream applications from cell sorting
Deep technical expertise in high-parameter cell sorting, spectral panel design, and Core Lab environments (SRLs)
Knowledge of sample preparation workflows, reagent cocktailing, and robotic solutions for high-throughput lab automation
Proven experience in competitive analysis, including benchmarking, workflow evaluation, pricing strategy, and technology trend identification
Demonstrated success in lifecycle management, downstream marketing, and cross-functional leadership
Familiarity with academic Core Labs, pharmaceutical, and translational research environments
Understanding of biological safety, contamination control, and industry standards
Deep knowledge of cell sorting software workflows and feature sets required by Core Labs
Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills
Ability to influence across teams and communicate effectively at all levels
Customer-centric mindset with capacity to engage Core Lab leaders and scientific KOLs
Ability to travel at least 25%
Preferred
advanced degree or MBA
Experience with flow cytometry, spectral analysis, cell sorting, or automation
