Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, compassionate care to all hospitalized and emergency patients
Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
Perform key technical tasks including restraint, venipuncture, catheter placement, radiographs, lab work, and medication administration
Accurately prepare and administer treatments per veterinary orders and hospital protocols
Collaborate across departments to ensure coordinated, top-level patient care
Respond swiftly to STAT calls and follow emergency care protocols
Create treatment estimates, review plans with clients, process payments, and manage admissions/discharges
Communicate with clients professionally, offering empathy and clear information
Participate in meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
Support hospital cleanliness, safety, and inventory management
Perform anesthesia and sedation following established protocols
Demonstrate flexibility by assisting with additional duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Licensed Veterinary Technicians or Experienced Veterinary Assistants with at least 2 years of experience
Prior experience in Emergency and Critical Care is required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to thrive under pressure and make informed decisions in fast-paced situations
A genuine passion for animal care and a commitment to patient well-being
Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role
Preferred
Fluency in multiple languages a plus!
