Responsibilities
Perform radiographic examination techniques in accordance with procedural/code requirements
Conduct and witness welding procedure specification qualifications and welder performance qualifications
Apply American Welding Society (AWS) and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) examination code requirements to fabricated welds
Perform dimensional inspections using basic measuring tools
Ability to work independently to established Quality Control procedures
Qualification
Required
Ability to pass a background investigation for Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Energy (DoE) contracts
Current American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) endorsement
Documented evidence of a previous or current Radiographic Testing (RT) Level II certification
Documented evidence of a previous or current Industrial Radiography Radiation Safety (IRRSP) accreditation
Preferred
Documented training and experience records of previous or current NDT methods (MT/PT/UT)
