Responsibilities

Assist with routine activities associated with the Grady Health System Trauma Registry, including data gathering, data abstraction/entry/coding, data analysis, data validation and maintenance, reporting, and additional clerical duties such as filing, organizing, and assisting with meetings
Serve as a liaison with other departments and outside agencies
Support relationships with, and submission of data to, the Georgia Department of Public Health Office of Emergency Medical Services and Trauma (OEMS&T), the National Trauma Data Bank (NTDB), and the Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP) of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) for maintenance of state designation, national verification, as well as national benchmarking
Assist with special projects under the direction of the Trauma Registry Manager (TRM), Trauma Program Director (TPD) and Trauma Medical Director (TMD)
