Responsibilities

Ensure the adherence to manufacturing process compliance with legal & safety requirements, customer requirements, Bosch standards and process specifications and ensure the team also follows the same
Manage processes within area of responsibility to ensure consistency with business plan
Support TPM Team Leader to efficiently manage projects and activities to achieve Policy Deployment objectives
Apply BPS methods and systems to improve the maturity of lean systems including Total Productive Maintenance to achieve high Overall Equipment Effectiveness
Support the HDP and HTC TPM team in partnership with the Manufacturing Operations and Engineering Teams to CIP maintenance systems, improving performance by transitioning from Reactive Maintenance to Preventive Maintenance to Condition Based Maintenance to Predictive Maintenance and ultimately to Precision Maintenance systems
Develop and Drive Total Predictive Maintenance & Maintenance Planning Strategies
Ensure the organization and effectiveness of weekly Value Stream reviews for TPM and OEE performance utilizing PDCA
Analyzing equipment performance data, maintenance logs, and failure patterns to identify trends, optimize maintenance strategies, and support data-driven decision-making
Adaption of systematic problem solving Techniques
Redesign or modify equipment and components to enhance maintainability and reduce failure rates
RPP measure implementation to improve Maintenance KPI’s (e.g. Tool life extension, Tool/Spare parts localization, updating obsolete MRO)
Partner with other Bosch locations as well as external organizations for benchmarking and best practice sharing in TPM
Knowledge transfer and Lessons Learned deployment across the team members
Provide training and mentoring in TPM throughout all levels of the organization through hands-on interaction
Promote a team environment that is focused on customer satisfaction

Required

B.S. Degree in Engineering
Demonstrated experience (minimum of 3 years) in manufacturing processes including Lean Systems
Familiar with Total Productive Maintenance
Experience in High Speed, High Precision Automated Manufacturing
Strong inter-personal and leadership skills
Strong written and oral communication skills (persuasive)
Strong presentation skills (to shop floor and high level management)
Strong project management/planning abilities: Strong organizational skills and persistence
Solid understanding of Lean Principles and Total Productive Maintenance systems
Ability to train and mentor associates
Effective problem solving skills
Self starting, results oriented, helps drive team success
Innovative and also copies best practices proudly
Must possess the ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Must have demonstrated a high level of teamwork, initiative, and drive for success in previous assignments
Must be flexible (welcomes and adapts to change)
Demonstrate discipline and consistency regarding adherence to established standards, policies and procedures
