Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair aerial telecommunications lines and associated equipment
Inspect existing aerial lines for damages or required upgrades
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while performing all tasks
Collaborate with team members and participate in project planning and execution
Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues for residential and commercial clients
Operate aerial lifts and other equipment safely and effectively
Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as an Aerial Lineman or similar role in telecommunications
Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in aerial work
Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Adequate physical strength and stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Able to move in different positions – crouching, kneeling, reaching, bending and lifting 75 lbs., unassisted
Works well with small hand and power tools
Available to work nights and be on-call; willing to work overtime when required; willing to travel and to work in all-weather conditions
Self-motivated and able to work well in groups
Performs other duties as assigned
