Hawaiian Building Maintenance is seeking a full-time Maintenance/Janitorial Supervisor to manage operations at a residential condo. The role involves overseeing a janitorial team, conducting quality control checks, and managing scheduling and administrative tasks while ensuring clear communication with team members and property managers.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to emails and phone calls to ensure clear communication with team members and property managers

Oversee a janitorial team, requiring a mix of leadership, organization, and communication skills

Review and submit timecards weekly

Order and pick up necessary supplies

Create purchase orders as needed

Maintain cleanliness of the premises

Paint the parking lot and common areas surrounding the building

Operate a pressure washing machine

Use a leaf blower or handheld blower as needed

Clean restrooms, parking lots, and walkways while restocking supplies

Remove and dispose of trash in designated areas and maneuver trash bins as necessary

Stand and walk for extended periods

Utilize a smartphone for uploading information online and communicating through email and text messages

Adhere to safety procedures and report safety concerns or building issues, such as burnt-out light bulbs

Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor or property manager

A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required

Applicants should be capable of performing basic manual labor, including cleaning common areas, pushing and pulling, frequently lifting up to 40 lbs., carrying a minimum of 25 lbs. (up to 75 lbs.), reaching overhead, bending, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing, stretching, and navigating stairs
