Responsibilities

Teach and mentor graduate and doctoral students across three programs: the M.S. in Child and Adolescent Development, the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, and the Organizational Leadership Doctoral Program (Ed.D.)
Support working professionals through academically rigorous, practice-connected learning
Indicate the SPECIFIC PROGRAM for which you are applying to teach courses and that you are qualified and/or have the credentials to work
Respond to questions about courses you have taught or would be interested in teaching

Required

Ed.D. Educational Leadership (TK-12 focus) Doctoral Degree (required)
Experience as an educational leader
Practical Educational Leadership experience in TK-12 and Administration
Background with technology and learning management systems
Experience with program development, project management, and curriculum
Experience with action research
Practical Leadership experience in Higher Ed, Non-Profit Organizations, Business, and K-12, Administrative
Experience in, or teaching, leadership theories, change management, organizational leadership
Experience teaching a full semester doctoral course
Familiar with technology and learning management systems
Experience with research and writing
Master's degree in Human Development, Developmental Psychology, Education, or a related field (required)
Demonstrated knowledge of developmental theories and research related to children and adolescents across cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains
Experience supporting adult learners in professional or academic contexts
Familiarity with culturally responsive, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate practices

Preferred

Doctorate degree (preferred, but not required)
Practical experience working with children, youth, or families in PK–12, early childhood, or community-based educational settings (e.g., teaching, counseling, student support, special education)
Experience with instructional coaching, teacher preparation, or supporting novice educators
Background in online teaching and use of learning management systems (e.g., D2L Brightspace, Canvas)
Strong professional writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience with curriculum development, program design, or community-based initiatives related to child and adolescent well-being
Scholarship or teaching background focused on topics such as equity in development, neurodiversity, or the whole child approach to teaching and/or leadership
