Responsibilities
Lead internal and external supplier quality assurance activities, including issue resolution, corrective action approval, and site visits
Prepare, analyze, and present quality data to drive improvements in part quality, service part packaging, and logistics processes
Coordinates activities between Nissan manufacturing, Parts Planning and Establishment, Parts Supply, Service Parts Packaging, and our PDC Network to ensure prompt and effective response to quality issues and technical queries
Review and interpret engineering data (Engineering Standards, D-Notes, Data Notes, and 3D CAD) to understand design intent and assess part quality
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
8+ years in quality engineering or related roles, with demonstrated success in supplier quality assurance and process improvement, with strong knowledge of quality tools, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes
Ability to interpret engineering and CAD data
Preferred
Engineering degree
Experience in automotive service parts or manufacturing environments
