Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate payroll operations, ensuring accurate, on-time processing across North America
Supervise payroll staff, providing guidance, support, and clear communication to ensure high-quality output
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal payroll regulations and company policies
Maintain and audit payroll records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and data integrity
Process payroll transactions—including wages, deductions, commissions, bonuses, and various types of leave—in a timely and accurate manner
Reconcile discrepancies, resolve payroll errors, and implement corrective actions
Prepare and deliver payroll reports to management, supporting decision-making with clear insights
Implement payroll best practices to enhance efficiency and standardize processes
Update and maintain payroll policies and procedures, and educate employees on payroll regulations and practices
Collaborate closely with HR and Finance to support cross-functional processes and ensure alignment
Address employee inquiries with professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in payroll administration or payroll operations
Strong knowledge of payroll tax laws, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy under deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally
Proficiency with payroll software systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
Preferred
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification
Experience using Workday or a similar HRIS/payroll platform
Familiarity with process improvement initiatives or payroll best practice frameworks
