Responsibilities
Plan and lead datacenter modernization efforts
Support Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS)
Monitor servers and core applications for recovery from failures
Develop system architectures and implement best practices
Supervise systems engineering staff
Be onsite at the Fairchild Building in Washington, DC three days per week
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in systems engineering
Base-level certification such as A+, Security+, or Network+
Core certification such as MCSA, MCSE, VMware Professional or Specialist
Preferred
Experience with COOP and DRP programs
Knowledge of enterprise architecture and system integration methodologies
