Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive indirect category sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals
Drive supplier selection and qualification processes through RFI/RFQ activities, ensuring alignment with technical, quality, and commercial requirements
Lead contract negotiations and establish agreements with indirect suppliers and service providers
Manage and execute supply chain initiatives focused on cost savings, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency for indirect spend categories
Oversee vendor lifecycle management, including onboarding, performance evaluation, and exit strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sourcing strategies and continuity of indirect services
Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and internal demand to identify strategic sourcing opportunities
Serve as strategic advisor to senior leadership on category performance, risks, and opportunities
Champion continuous improvement and innovation within the indirect supply base and internal processes
Mentor and influence cross-functional teams while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
8+ years of experience in indirect category management (e.g. packaging, IT, MRO, professional services, facilities, or other indirect spend areas)
Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in data analysis tools
Willingness to flex work hours as necessary to engage with global teams and supply partners
Willingness to challenge the status quo and facilitate different perspectives to drive solutions
Preferred
Understanding of medical devices and industry regulations
Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement analytics tools, SAP and COUPA or equivalent systems
