Women in Cleantech and Sustainability is seeking an Associate Counsel for Litigation and Employment Contract at SDG&E in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities

Conducts legal research and analysis, staying updated on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents affecting the energy industry
Drafts and reviews complex legal documents and discovery responses under the supervision of an attorney, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Assists in the development, review, and implementation of corporate policies, procedures, and internal controls to mitigate legal and regulatory risks
Provides legal guidance in a number of regulatory areas such as environmental, ethics, industrial safety, and employment
Provides advice and counsel to management and project teams on legal and regulatory issues and related strategy
Assists in the development and evaluation of draft legislation
Drafts contracts, legal opinions, agreements, and other legal documents as needed
Performs other duties as assigned
