Responsibilities

Define a forward-looking data strategy and architecture aligned to business goals and emerging tech
Create and enforce policies for quality, security, privacy, and compliance
Design scalable models and databases; build/optimize ETL/ELT pipelines (SSIS, Azure tools) and integrate Snowflake
Partner with stakeholders to translate needs into actionable BI—automate and maintain reports/dashboards (SSRS, Power BI; InDesign optional)
Implement MDM and data quality frameworks; profile, cleanse, and document data assets and flows
Evaluate current designs, recommend upgrades, and track new tools to keep us competitive

Required

10+ years building enterprise apps/database solutions; 5+ years in financial services
Deep expertise in SQL Server, T‐SQL, SSMS/SSIS/SSRS, Power BI, SQL Replication, Azure data services, Snowflake
In-depth knowledge of data security and compliance, including Azure security practices
Good understanding of Azure environment and DevOps
Expertise in T-SQL and SQL Server Data Management Services (SSMS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Strong chops in data modeling, governance, security/compliance, and ETL/MDM
BS/MS in CS, Data/Information Systems (or similar)

Preferred

Any experience in the following is a plus: InDesign, Power Apps/Automate, ActiveBatch, Docker/Kubernetes, SharePoint, Azure DevOps
