Responsibilities

Works independently on engineering tasks with guidance as needed
Provides technical support and consultation
Applies nuclear industry standards and regulations
Supports design preparation and verification activities
Assists with station outages and emergent issues
Supports maintenance rule applicability and regulatory requirements
Collaborates with other Engineers on design change projects
Creates and updates technical drawings and documentation
May support other fleet locations during outages or emergent needs
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Electrical/I&C Design engineeringNuclear industry standardsEngineering Change preparationProfessional Engineer certificationAutoCAD proficiencyEDISON software proficiencyTechnical supportCollaborationProblem-solving

Required

Bachelor's - Engineering
Experience: 12+ years
Nuclear Experience: 8+ years
Previous experience in Electrical/I&C Design engineering
Ability to work flexible schedules including outages
Ability to work full time on-site at St. Lucie Nuclear Plant
Knowledge of regulatory and industry standards and codes

Preferred

Master's - Engineering
Certified Professional Engineer (PE)
Proficiency in AutoCAD and EDISON software
Experience with electrical calculations and analysis
