Responsibilities

Lead the TIBCO migration effort, leveraging AI to analyze existing mapping files and translate them into a future-state design
Collaborate directly with the enterprise architecture team to align on integration strategy, system dependencies, and data flow design
Design and implement Kafka-based event-driven integrations across business systems
Write and maintain high-quality, scalable code using Python for data transformation and process automation
Build and deploy services using GCP Cloud Run, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and monitoring
Integrate with both relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
Serve as a strategic advisor, identify migration risks, propose mitigation strategies, and drive best practices across the engineering lifecycle
Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and agile ceremonies to ensure alignment and velocity

Required

10+ years of experience in enterprise application integration, with recent focus on TIBCO migration or replacement projects
Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and event streaming platforms
Strong proficiency in Python for scripting, transformation, and service development
Deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform, especially Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and GCP-native data services
Solid experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL systems (e.g., MongoDB)
Familiarity with using AI/ML tools or scripts to parse or analyze code/logic (e.g., using LLMs to accelerate reverse engineering of mappings)
Strong communication skills — able to translate technical detail into strategic insight and collaborate with both architects and developers
Proven ability to operate independently, lead initiatives, and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Experience with Mulesoft, Boomi, or other modern integration platforms
Familiarity with retail system architecture (ERP, POS, CRM)
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD in a GCP environment
