Responsibilities
Assist NOGA staff with all aspects of tournament operations including: a primary focus on general tournament administration, equipment set-up, golf course set-up and preparation, golf course markings, on course officiating, starting and scoring, real time scoring by data entry, and pace monitoring
Interns will travel extensively throughout the region during the internship, assisting in conducting competitions and administering USGA core functions
Secondary responsibilities will revolve around social media management, as well as member services
Qualification
Required
Golf background or strong interest in golf
College Degree (completed or in progress)
Willingness to work in fast pace and team-oriented structure
Willingness to live in Greater Cleveland area and travel throughout the region
Able to work outside in extreme weather and temperatures with direct sun exposure
Excellent communications and public relations skills
Experience in photography, social media, and related programs
A person with a strong work ethic that is self-motivated
Strong computer skills, including MS Office
