Responsibilities

Manage probate and estate litigation matters from inception through resolution
Develop legal strategies and participate in case planning discussions
Identify key legal issues and establish case priorities
Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other court filings
Conduct legal research and factual analysis
Prepare for and attend hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to deliver high-quality client service
Draft internal case summaries, strategy memoranda, and advisory reports
Ensure compliance with ethical standards, court rules, and firm policies
Maintain professionalism and a high standard of client communication

Required

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association
Minimum 4 years of experience in probate, trust, estate, and litigation matters
Ability to manage a full caseload independently and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative and compassionate approach

Preferred

Familiarity with Tabs Practice Master software
Ability to meet 1200+ billable hours annually
