Responsibilities
Build Rust services for order handling, market access, and venue connectivity
Own integrations to multiple exchanges and keep them stable under load
Profile critical paths, remove latency, and improve throughput
Ship code to production, monitor it, and fix issues quickly
Improve data capture and observability for live systems and post-trade review
Qualification
Required
3+ years building backend systems in Rust with a focus on performance
Solid Linux fundamentals, networking, and concurrency patterns
Experience integrating with exchange style APIs and working with live market data
Comfortable operating production systems and writing tooling in Python when useful
Clear communicator who can work directly with traders and other engineers
Preferred
Prior work on order book logic or execution engines
Experience with time series storage and dashboards for metrics and alerts
Familiarity with reliability practices like circuit breakers and backoff strategies
