Responsibilities
Collect and analyze operational data and trends to improve manufacturing performance
Ensure consistent monitoring and early detection of process issues
Collaborate with maintenance leadership to plan and schedule system maintenance using reliability models and predictive tools
Partner with technology and finance teams to manage site costs
Plan and monitor production shutdowns while ensuring compliance with preventive maintenance requirements
Work with capital engineers to evaluate projects and identify cost-effective, high-quality solutions
Oversee third-party personnel, ensuring safety and skill development
Collaborate with other departments to recommend best practices and strategies
Work independently with minimal supervision, escalating only highly complex issues
Perform other assigned duties
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong knowledge of engineering principles
At least 4 years of related work experience
Preferred
Lean Certification
Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
Strong project management skills
Data analysis and continuous improvement experience
Familiarity with PI (data historian), MS Project, Seeq, and Minitab
Experience with wet/dry corn milling, ethanol production, or corn sweeteners production
