Research Assistant

They are seeking a Research Assistant to support ongoing and early-stage research in prosthetic systems and related assistive technologies, assisting with literature reviews, data analysis, experimental planning, and research documentation.

Responsibilities
Conduct literature reviews related to prosthetics, biomechanics, materials, and human movement
Summarize research findings and identify gaps relevant to ongoing projects
Assist in the design and analysis of experiments or pilot studies
Analyze and interpret quantitative data using appropriate statistical methods
Prepare figures, tables, and written summaries of results
Support research documentation and drafting of reports or manuscripts
Participate in research discussions and communicate findings clearly to the team
Qualification
Required
Prior research experience (academic, industry, or independent)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with data analysis and interpretation
Ability to read and critically evaluate scientific literature
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a research-focused environment
Preferred
Degree or coursework in biomedical engineering, biomechanics, computer science, robotics, data science, or a related field
Experience working with Python, R, MATLAB, or similar tools
Familiarity with motion data, sensor data, or mechanical testing
Interest in prosthetics, assistive technology, or humanitarian engineering
