Salonumbers LLC is a tax preparation company focused on delivering clarity and confidence during tax season. The Front Desk Tax Office Receptionist will be the first point of contact for clients, managing interactions, processing documents, and ensuring a seamless workflow for tax professionals.

Responsibilities
Being the voice and face of our firm —greeting clients, answering phones, and creating a welcoming, professional atmosphere that sets the tone for excellence
Processing high-volume tax documents with laser precision —organizing, scanning, preparing files using cutting-edge paperless technology during our most dynamic season
Mastering workflow systems —tracking deadlines, monitoring document status, and using specialized tax and project management software to keep everything on schedule
Solving problems in real-time —fielding client questions, coordinating with the tax team, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks when the pressure is on
Contributing to team wins —collaborating cross-functionally during peak periods, jumping in where needed, and celebrating when we crush our goals together
Growing into more —proving yourself during tax season opens doors to year-round, full-time positions with expanded responsibilities and leadership opportunities
Qualification
Required
Professional receptionist, front desk, or administrative experience (accounting/tax environment strongly preferred)
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in Business Administration is a plus)
Demonstrated success managing high-volume client interactions during time-sensitive periods
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Clear, professional communication skills (bilingual capabilities are a bonus)
The ability to lift up to 15 pounds and sit for extended periods while maintaining focus
Preferred
Experience with tax preparation software (Drake, Lacerte, ProSeries, or similar)
Familiarity with paperless office technologies and document management systems
Basic understanding of tax terminology and IRS requirements
Previous exposure to multi-state tax compliance
