Senior Customer Service Coordinator
ZIMLog is a logistics company seeking a Senior Customer Service Coordinator to provide support in logistics, operations, and customer service. The role involves handling import/export bookings, documentation, and various customer service tasks related to air and ocean freight.
Responsibilities
Perform Logistics, Operations and Customer Service Support to our customers and agents
Handling IMPORT / EXPORT bookings and documentation for both AIR and OCEAN
AES filing
Shipping Instructions
Draft BL’s
Export door moves
LTL
Send pre-alert documents to destination
Arrival Notice
AMS
ISF and customs clearance
Cargo release
Import door moves
Demurrage and detention
Billing and invoicing
Vetting vendors costs
Support all day-to-day activities
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
2+ year experience in a Freight Forwarding company in Customer Service, Logistics and/or Operations roles
MS Office Proficiency
Magaya Software knowledge
Customs Regulations Knowledge for IMPORT and EXPORT in both AIR and OCEAN
STA or similar / relevant TSA clearance
Strong Customer Service Skills
Full fluency in Spanish
Preferred
College Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Commerce, or related field
E2Open Software knowledge
HAZMAT training certifications
IATA training certifications
