Customer Service Team Lead
Securico Life Insurance Company is a fast-growing final expense life insurance carrier based in Austin. They are seeking a Customer Service Team Lead who will provide hands-on leadership, support customer service representatives, and ensure smooth operations while fostering a positive team culture.

Responsibilities
Be the go-to resource for customer service reps throughout the day
Coach, support, and help develop team members
Assist with onboarding and training new hires
Monitor performance and help maintain service standards
Handle escalated or complex customer questions
Foster a positive, collaborative team culture
Answer and return customer phone calls with care and professionalism
Monitor and respond to support emails
Handle daily printing and mailing of policy documents
Manage returned mail and maintain accurate records
Assist with general office and administrative tasks
Help keep the office organized and running smoothly
Qualification
Required
Customer service experience required
Customer Service: 2+ years (required)
Leadership or Team Lead experience: (required)
Strong communication skills with a friendly, confident approach
Leadership experience or a natural ability to guide and support others
Organized, dependable, and solution-oriented
Great time management and ability to prioritize
Patient, calm, and skilled at de-escalating customer concerns
A team-first mindset and positive attitude
Preferred
Insurance experience strongly preferred
Insurance: 1 year (strongly preferred)
