Responsibilities
Lead the creation and implementation of custom control systems to meet unique client requirements
Provide technical guidance on automation projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes
Mentor junior engineers and facilitate knowledge sharing across the team
Work directly with clients to translate operational needs into technical solutions while adhering to project constraints
Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain electrical and control systems in dynamic, high-pressure environments
Contribute to process innovation, standardization, and best practices
Travel domestically and internationally as project requirements dictate (~20%)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or similar field
3-5+ years of experience with industrial PLC platforms and automation control systems
Hands-on expertise with major PLC and HMI platforms (e.g., Beckhoff & C# Experience)
Strong organizational, leadership, and project management skills
Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot electrical schematics and control designs
Advanced proficiency in office and engineering software applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and team collaboration
Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges independently and collaboratively
Knowledge of safety-critical control systems, including fail-safe design and protective devices
Preferred
Experience programming industrial robots and integrating machine vision systems is a plus
Familiarity with electrical safety standards and automated production equipment
