Bilingual Research Project Manager Stakeholder Engagement Pulmonary

Responsibilities

Supervising patient stakeholder engagement
Serving as a liaison to both English and Spanish-speaking patients and multiple stakeholder groups
Coordinating the development of study-related educational materials
Organizing and leading monthly engagement activities
Scheduling meetings
Systematically obtaining feedback from stakeholders and patients to inform all aspects of the study
Managing meeting agendas
Tracking action items
Ensuring that all partners’ voices are heard and reflected in project milestones and deliverables
Contributing to the design and implementation of study interventions and educational resources

Required

Masters in Public Health or in another Social Science discipline is desired
a Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of five (5) years work experience in healthcare clinical research operations
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
Experience in community health education, health promotion, and collaborating and implementing health-related community-based interventions
Ability to make independent effective decisions
Strong organizational and communication Skills
Strong database management and computer skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Excellent organizational skills to ensure timelines are achieved
Communicate Effectively: Excellent written, presentation and communication skills with respect to cultural competence and utilizing effective communication tools and techniques
Solve Problems: thoughtful and creative problem solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve relevant issues that may arise
Knowledge of federal and local regulatory guidelines with respect to the conduct and fulfillment of clinical trial documentation
Knowledge of community health, disease prevention, chronic disease management, and health coaching; ability to plan, implement, and evaluate health education programs; ability to identify and/or develop quality patient education materials
A proven ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds including program patients, community and civic organizations, and public health professionals
Must be flexible and able to manage a multi-faceted program with a self-directed work style, balanced with the ability to work collaboratively

Preferred

Experience working with culturally diverse populations desirable
Experience with health-related, government-funded programs a plus
