Responsibilities
Design and develop comprehensive data validation and quality assurance strategies for data pipelines, ETL processes, and backend systems
Leverage modern tools, programming languages, data frameworks, and approved databases
Automate validation procedures using CI/CD pipelines, scheduled jobs, or event triggers
Lead and mentor junior data engineers; set best practices and foster team knowledge sharing
Design and implement testing solutions for data visualizations on popular BI platforms
Participate in high-complexity projects and ensure compliance with security and quality standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Minimum 7 years of experience testing ETL and data warehouse solutions using a software development approach
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation development
Expertise in scripting languages, modern IDEs, and source control systems
Strong knowledge of relational databases, data lakes, and data warehouse architectures
Excellent communication, analytical, interpersonal, and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects with minimal oversight
