Responsibilities

Recruitment & Outreach: Plan and conduct travel across the U.S. and Canada for fairs, school visits, conferences, alumni meet-ups, and creative industry events in line with Azaz’s strategic plan for Goldsmiths. You can expect to travel for 12-16 weeks per year
Engagement & Conversion: Build and sustain meaningful relationships with students, parents, and counselors. Inspire interest in Goldsmiths’ programs of study and guide students from inquiry through enrollment
Admitted Student Transition Support: Support admitted students and their families through targeted personalized engagement activities, including pre-departure communications and events, working closely with Goldsmiths teams and academic faculty to encourage successful transition from offer to enrolment
Marketing & Storytelling: Collaborate with Goldsmiths’ marketing team to deliver impactful, tailored campaigns across digital platforms, webinars, and live events that reflect the College’s creative identity
Planning, Reporting & Evaluation: Contribute to the planning and evaluation of recruitment activity by maintaining accurate records, monitoring trends across the region, identifying emerging opportunities, producing regular reports on outreach activity and outcomes, and supporting the assessment of impact and return on investment for North American recruitment initiatives
Budget Awareness & Resource Stewardship: Demonstrate strong awareness of costs associated with travel, events, and outreach activity, supporting efficient use of resources and providing feedback to Goldsmiths and Azaz colleagues on value for money in the U.S. and Canadian markets
Data-Informed Recruitment Practice: Use CRM systems and tracking tools, where appropriate and in line with agreed processes, to log engagement, monitor applicant pipelines, and contribute to data-informed decision-making across recruitment and outreach activity
Study Abroad Development: Establish and strengthen ties with schools, arts programs, universities, and creative organizations to expand undergraduate, postgraduate, and study abroad recruitment channels
Alumni Activation: Harness the power of Goldsmiths alumni across North America to serve as ambassadors, mentors, and advocates
Regional Visit Support: Support and facilitate occasional visits by Goldsmiths faculty and staff to the U.S. and Canada, including planning itineraries, institutional visits, and engagement opportunities
Global Collaboration: Work closely with Azaz’s operations and Goldsmiths’ recruitment and marketing teams in the U.K. to ensure a consistent, globally aware outreach strategy

Required

Bachelor's degree and the legal right to work in the U.S
Valid U.S. passport and driver's license
Knowledge of U.S./Canadian education systems and awareness of UK higher education
Skilled in communicating and presenting to varied audiences and building strong professional networks
Confident managing extensive travel and event logistics
Independent, organized, and comfortable working remotely and across time zones
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Zoom
Creative thinking, energy, adaptability, and a fearless, playful attitude to student recruitment
Ability to reflect Goldsmiths' commitment to inclusion, access, creativity, and social responsibility, ensuring all outreach activity is welcoming, ethical, and student-centered

Preferred

3+ years' experience in international recruitment, admissions, or related field and/or in a creative industry
Passion for or experience in the fine art, design, music, film, theater, or creative industries
Knowledge of UK student visa regulations
Experience with or willingness to learn new CRM systems
Business-level Spanish skills
