Mid LevelAniva Energy is seeking an experienced HAZOP Scribe to support a major Operate Phase HAZOP workshop in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate, real-time documentation of workshop discussions, deviations, causes, consequences, safeguards, and recommendations in accordance with industry best practices.

Responsibilities
Act as the dedicated HAZOP Scribe during HAZOP and other PHA workshops
Accurately capture discussions, action items, and recommendations using standard HAZOP methodologies
Ensure clear, concise, and technically accurate documentation of nodes, deviations, causes, consequences, and safeguards
Work closely with the HAZOP Chair, process engineers, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain consistency and quality in HAZOP reports and deliverables
Support post-workshop documentation and close-out activities as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (mandatory)
Proven hands-on experience as a HAZOP Scribe for formal HAZOP / PHA workshops
Strong understanding of process safety, HAZOP methodology, and PHA tools
Familiarity with industry-standard HAZOP documentation software (PHA-Pro 8) and templates
Excellent technical writing and communication skills
Ability to work on-site in Houston for the full duration of the assignment
Preferred
Prior HAZOP / PHA workshop experience with major oil & gas companies, such as: bp, ExxonMobil, Shell, or other major international oil & gas operators
Experience working on complex upstream, midstream, downstream, or petrochemical facilities
