Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership through all phases of silicon ASIC development. Primarily focused on early specification and architecture on the host interface

Work with system and software architects to define technical requirements and architecture specifications related to the host interface, with a holistic view of the complete system – including SoC, FW, driver, SW

Drive evaluation and provide recommendations for technology, IP, and vendor selection

Work with modeling and performance teams to capture performance details and requirements. Help identify performance bottlenecks

Support design and verification in pre and post silicon to ensure features meet architectural requirements

Required

Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
