Analyzing and translating data into actionable insights to support financial crimes, AML, and economic sanctions projects
Collaborating with financial crimes analysts and quantitative modelers to review business requirements and data needs
Conducting data profiling and mapping, analyzing results, and providing comprehensive reports
Reviewing data flows and communicating impacts related to new data sources or projects
Gathering and translating business requirements into detailed specifications for development teams
Managing project deliverables and timelines, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines
Identifying and implementing process improvements and automation opportunities in collaboration with development partners
Coordinating and multitasking across various projects while ensuring attention to detail and timely delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
8+ years of experience as a Functional Business Analyst with 6+ years of experience in MongoDB and SQL
Experience in the banking or financial services industry, with a strong understanding of financial crimes, AML, and economic sanctions
Proven ability to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and manage project timelines effectively
