Responsibilities

Contribute to technical design and requirements planning, providing feedback based on grounded experience with modern frameworks, architectural patterns and best practices

Develop, design and test new features across the back-end and front-end using PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Write clean, efficient, reusable code

Provide technical leadership through thoughtful peer code reviews and mentorship

Debug and remediate defects in existing back-end and front-end application code

Identify and recommend improvements related to performance, scalability, security and maintainability

Required

5+ years of professional PHP application development experience

Strong experience designing and architecting scalable back end systems

Hands-on experience with Laravel, SQL, Git, MongoDB, Docker, and shell scripting

Solid understanding of object-oriented programing features and design practices

Experience working in technical leadership or senior contributor role

Ability to understand, evaluate and improve existing codebases

Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

Preferred

Experience building with modern front-end technologies such as Vue or React, preferred

Familiarity with cloud based platforms, including AWS, preferred

Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, preferred
