Power Business Unit President
NEO Energy is a leading utility contractor seeking a Business Unit President for their HV Transmission & Substations division. This role involves providing executive leadership for U.S. operations, ensuring project execution, client relationships, and driving business growth while overseeing a national EPC portfolio.
Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the Overhead Transmission and Substation business unit across the United States
Maintain full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and financial performance
Oversee the execution of EPC transmission and substation projects, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives
Lead and support business development efforts, including client engagement, proposal strategy, and contract negotiations
Serve as a senior point of contact for key utility, developer, and EPC clients
Collaborate closely with project management, engineering, construction, and field leadership to ensure operational alignment
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale transmission and substation operations in a senior leadership or executive capacity
Strong understanding of overhead transmission line construction, including means and methods, production rates, and cost indexes
Proven experience in business development, client relationship management, and strategic growth initiatives
Solid grasp of project management principles, including scheduling, cost controls, forecasting, and project accounting
Minimum 10+ years of experience in Overhead Electric Transmission
Significant hands-on field experience is critical to success in this role
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously across different geographies
Experience in construction management, EPC delivery, or large-scale infrastructure operations

Prior experience leading transmission or power delivery teams at a regional or national level
