Responsibilities

Assists in planning, scheduling of team resources, status reporting, and completion of documentation for team assignment and projects
Analyzes and develops work or project plans for team assignments
Supervises the work assignments of subordinates
Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff
Assists in planning, scheduling of team resources, status reporting and completion of required documentation for team assignment and projects
Analyzes and develops work or project plans for team assignments
Analyzes and implements solutions to problems associated with assignments
Responsible for project leadership: Coordinates the integrated systems integrity, provides the coordination, communication and project structure between users of Information Services and third-party software vendors or programmers, provides systems and installation support and user training
Develops and controls the project schedules, and assigns responsibilities where appropriate
Participates in all aspects of software development, systems design and analysis and project planning and management

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related specialty from an accredited college or university AND Ten years of job specific experience that includes system analysis, design and development, and relationship management

Proficiency in various programming languages is required for informed decision-making
Experience with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is necessary
Knowledge of database design and data modeling is crucial
Understanding DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is important for modern application development
Strong understanding of security principles is vital for designing secure applications
Familiarity with architectural styles (e.g., microservices, monolithic, client-server) and design patterns is crucial
Expertise in test automation tools ensures quality
Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is vital
Analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for identifying and resolving issues
The ability to lead and collaborate with development teams is important
Being able to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements is crucial
Managing expectations and collaborating with various stakeholders is essential
Effective time management skills are needed to meet deadlines and deliver quality solutions

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
