OMS Program Manager (Program Manager I, Grade N23)

Montgomery County's Office of Human Resources is seeking an experienced Program Manager I for their Occupational Medical Services team. The role focuses on managing the County's ADA disability program and ensuring compliance while providing operational support and training related to employee medical services.

Responsibilities

Work with the County Disability Program Manager to ensure compliance in the work associated with supporting the ADA disability program. This includes tracking, monitoring, reporting, responding to and assisting with program workflow for medical transactions, trainings for OMS services and programs (virtual and onsite) County Worker's Compensation, sick leave bank, light duty assignments, return to work, and FMLA administration
Conduct needs assessment to evaluate individual employee needs for accommodations
Record Keeping to maintain accurate documentation of accommodations, services, and compliance efforts
Collaboration work with IT, Facilities, and EEO staff
Prepare reports on accommodation requests and compliance
Support to provide direct resources, and guidance to employees with disabilities
Resolve complex operational problems that impact service delivery and productivity
Analize, identify, and evaluate potential operational alternatives, outcomes of proposed actions, and submit recommendations in support of program goals
Assist with maintaining medical record integrity for the County to include oversight of process for medical record documents to be imaged according to HIPAA principles and standards
Propose solutions and resolve daily challenges from employees and departments regarding OMS services
Serve as the initial point of contact, for employees with disabilities and communicating with departments, supervisors, and managers through the interactive process for implementation for accommodations, when applicable as defined under EEOC Title II

Required

Considerable (3 years) of professional experience in EEOC ADA Title II procedures and employee leave management
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted

Preferred

ADA Coordinator certification
Experience in a clinical environment
Familiarity with contract monitoring and administration
Experience in data preparation and reporting

Benefits
