The Mid Full Stack Developer will support the development and maintenance of IRS APIs, working closely with senior engineers to deliver scalable and secure API solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and enhance REST and GraphQL APIs in accordance with IRS standards

Implement backend services using languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, or Spark

Support frontend development using modern frameworks when required

Participate in data mapping, validation, and object modeling activities

Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth and JWT

Write and maintain automated tests for APIs and services

Support API versioning, deployment, and monitoring activities

Collaborate with data engineers and AI engineers on integrated solutions

Contribute to technical documentation, API specifications, and test plans

Demonstrated ability/evidence of high volume of accurate code production

Competency in Openshift Serverless, AWS Serverless, Kubernetes, GitHub, and JIRA
